Human mobility analysis and applications
One of the major factor that affects the dymanicity of the neteworks is human mobility. Human mobility has associated properties and patterns. These poperties and patterns affects applications that consider opportunistic networks. Thus, my key research contributions are:
- understanding cause of patterns visible in human mobility
- how human mobility help in achieving faster dissemincation

My research interests mainly span the areas related to ICT, especially relating to IoT and related issues. To be specific, within IoT, I am interested in Human Mobility aspects, Semantic technologies for storing IoT data, Network Science, Smart Cities, Big Data and CrowdSourcing. My one of the aims is to build solutions that are secure, enable ubiquitous/large scale computing for problems pertaining to the context of developing countries, and can be easily deployed.
